This used Dano reissue model is based on early-1960s Danelectro guitars, particularly the ’63 double-cut design, and is made by Danelectro, a brand known since 1947 for its quirky, budget-friendly instruments. The guitar is designed to capture the distinctive garage rock, surf rock, and indie tone vibe of that era, rather than focusing on modern high-gain performance.
