Built in 2004 to celebrate Taylor’s 30th anniversary, the XXX-MC is a limited edition Grand Concert, with only 250 made. A solid Western red cedar top and solid mahogany back and sides produce a warm, balanced tone with strong midrange response.
A mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard features engraved pearl inlays, while the slotted headstock adds a vintage touch. The guitar is fitted with 3-on-a-plate engraved tuners with ivoroid buttons and abalone purfling.
A shorter 24.9” scale length and 1.75” nut width offer comfortable playability, making it well-suited for fingerstyle playing.
