Gibson Hummingbird
£2,199.00
Built in 1999 at Gibson’s Nashville factory, this Gibson Hummingbird features a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, producing a warm, resonant tone with strong projection. The square-shoulder dreadnought body and natural nitrocellulose finish highlight the wood grain.
A mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard features mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays, offering smooth playability. The original Grover Rotomatic tuners have been replaced with Gibson Deluxe vintage-style tuners with green keystone buttons, giving it a more traditional appearance. The pickguard has been upgraded with a red Gibson Hummingbird pickguard, keeping the iconic engraved design.
A rosewood bridge with a bone saddle ensures sustain and clarity, while the detailed binding and rosette maintain the signature Hummingbird aesthetic. A well-kept example of one of Gibson’s most iconic acoustic guitars.
